About Me
Robert is a CPA with over 19 years of accounting and finance experience that he is ready to put to work for your business. He began his career in auditing, then transitioned to corporate accounting where he rose to the rank of controller overseeing all accounting, financial reporting, audit, tax, and treasury work high-growth, dynamic environments.
Robert has over 10 years of experience in the start up, fantasy sports and entertainment industries, working with companies such as FanDuel and PrizePicks, where he led the transformation of the accounting function through tremendous growth from start up phase to the level of an established organization. Among his skill sets include monthly financial close, management reporting, preparation of financial statements and related footnotes in accordance with US GAAP, accounting system automation and software implementation, merger and acquisition support, and bank liaison support, among other accounting responsibilities.
Robert holds an MBA from Emory University’s Goizuetta Business School, receiving the Art Dietz Faculty Award for Excellence in Finance. Robert received his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Alabama and graduated with distinction.
